Welcome to the New Mexico Federation of Republican Women.
The New Mexico Federation of Republican Women has 1,000 members scattered
across the state in 19 clubs. Members are deeply involved in assisting
Republican candidates, both national and local. Our mission consists of
electing republicans and educating our members about current issues. Our
state federation and local clubs also work on special projects improve our
community and our state.
A special 2007 initiative of the state and local clubs was to pass a
Jessica's Law equivalent to protect the children of New Mexico from sexual
predators. New Mexico does not have mandatory sentencing or lifetime
supervision of such predators, both of which are needed. Thanks to the
hard work of our members and legislators, Governor Richardson did sign this
legislation, and New Mexico is now safer.
Our clubs have many other projects such as support for our armed forces,
literacy, and other local community programs to assist people in need.
We truly believe that EVERY REPUBLICAN WOMAN SHOULD BE A MEMBER OF THE
FEDERATION!
We are a state organization which belongs to the National Federation of
